Devastating floods hit Nairobi, Kenya in May 2024. Death tolls raised up to 228 fatalities. The torrential rains that have caused widespread flooding and landslides across the country in recent weeks are forecasted to worsen in May.

Precious Network International in collaboration with Impact Church Worldwide provided flood relief to our partner Pastor James Okenda of The Grace Champion children’s Center, helping relocate and temporarily house 23 orphans and 15 villagers. Together we provided transportation to dry elevated land, temporary shelter and food for the orphans and villagers for several weeks until the water levels were safe to go back to. Unfortunately life threatening events happen and we are blessed to be a resource that our partners can depend on.
